The IT Project Manager reports directly into the IT Enterprise Strategy andGovernance function.
This role is responsible for delivering projects within the agreed-upon budget,scope and timelines and managing issues and risks through the project lifecycleand helping to manage stakeholder expectations. This position will need to workcollaboratively with functional business areas and IT partners to achieveproject objectives, milestones, and deliverables and ensure the implementedsolutions are of high quality.
� Coordinate the efforts of the functional departments in multiple locations, asrequired, to ensure that the project is conducted in accordance with the plannedrequirements and budgets.
� Develop project schedules and direct modifications based on root causeanalysis and schedule constraints.
� Provide regular project status updates to Sr. Management with action/recoveryplans as appropriate.
� Develop and improve Project Management methodology and Continuous Improvementtools.
� Mentor Project Leads on the best Project Management and Continuous practices.
� Prepare and deliver Project Management and Continuous Improvement trainingcontent to IT and business colleagues across locations that have directinvolvement in project execution.
� Track the project portfolio, facilitates review meetings, prepare meetingminutes and follow up on open items as needed.
� Advise management of the project status and problems, or potential problems,on a regular basis.
� Anticipate potential schedule delays including those stemming from risks,multi-project resources and integration conflicts and initiates plans forcorrective actions.
� Participate in on-going skills development training.
� Perform special projects as required.
Skills and Knowledge
� Bachelor�s degree in Project Management, Continuous Improvement, orBusiness/IT and 3 years of project management experience; or 7 years of projectmanagement experience.
� Excellent analytical ability to quickly gather facts and draw conclusionsabout potential new opportunities.
� Ability to lead and guide cross functional project team(s) without formalizedauthority along with the ability to drive concurrent project(s) to completion.
� Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projectsat the same time with competitive needs and deadlines.
� Working knowledge of Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK).
� Ability to provide basic and intermediate level training in ProjectManagement.
� Excellent oral, presentation and written communications skills.
� Excellent interpersonal skills
� Excellent knowledge of business process, procedures and terminiology.
� Ability to work under pressure.
� A continuous improvement mindset.
� Ability to travel � domestic and international.
Education and Experience
� Bachelor�s degree in Information Systems or related field; Master�s degree orMBA is highly desirable; equivalent experience will be evaluated.
� Five or more years of SAP experience.
Travel is estimated to be approximately 25%, with approximately one-third ofthis being international travel.
