Position Summary

The Manufacturing Training Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Value Stream Manager and heavily supports the training of hourly colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee training milestones and timelines

  • Organize and manage updates of training curriculum documentation

  • Perform routine administrative duties such as being proficient in computer software, filing, expense reports, ordering office supplies and answering telephones

  • Develop spreadsheets and reports

  • May serve as point person for reception, deliveries, and facility contractors (ex: janitorial, vending, uniforms, etc.)

  • Interact with various colleagues throughout different areas of the plant

  • Use online or video training solutions to aid in the training process

  • Organize and maintains electronic and paper files

  • Assist with coordination and logistics of meetings and conference calls

  • Utilize SharePoint sites and other databases

  • Develop a calendar that details what type of training opportunities are being offered and taken

  • Provide train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts in order to help them develop the instructional skills necessary to share what they know with others in the company

What we are looking for

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 1-2 years training program documentation experience

  • Work cross functionally with various colleagues

  • Able to climb stairs and walk throughout the plant

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Products
