Position Summary

Energizer is seeking a highly motivated person to join our North American Digital Economy team. The eCommerce Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Account Manager in delivering sales, share and margin for strategic eCommerce customers. The position will be responsible for day-to-day Platform Management including developing account strategies, understanding retailer operations and consumer’s behavior in order to build and execute effective strategies to drive the battery, lights and auto care categories. This role works in partnership with Shopper Marketing, Supply Chain and the Brick & Mortar Commercial teams. Requires a self-starter with a curious nature who enjoys the ambiguity and challenge of earning category leadership on ecommerce platforms.


  • Develop eCommerce customer strategy and business objectives; manage KPI achievement across strategic accounts

  • Work with National Account Manager to develop and execute Annual Business Plans that efficiently achieve and stretch customer and Energizer eCommerce goals / objectives across Walmart, Club and Auto Channel.

  • Day-to-day platform/retailer management of Walmart, Club and Auto channel retailers as assigned.

  • Acquire an understanding of key customer needs and driving inputs into the Retailer algorin order to build competencies to win online

  • Along with the National Account Manager, Serve as primary point of contact to eCommerce Retailer, attend key meetings as the Energizer eCommerce expert and develop relationships at every level

  • Identify and problem solve, along with appropriate partners, pricing disruptions at assigned key retailers

  • Work with Media manager/Ecommerce Account Manager on media execution, testing, reporting and optimization on key retail accounts. ROI analysis for post campaigns and Case study reporting for future retailer optimizations.

  • Execution of Annual Business Plan, NAM requests, retailer initiatives and case study development and sharing with broader DE team.

  • Collaborate with Shopper / Brand Activation team to align online and in-store promotion activity

  • Regularly review / update learnings and successes of executed tactics; share out to the COE

  • Liaise with functional teams as needed to service the account and minimize channel conflict

  • Day to Day Digital Shelf Management

  • Collaborate closely with eCommerce Content and Syndication Specialist to syndicate optimized content to your assigned accounts

  • Work with eCommerce Content and Syndication Specialist to help map templates for your assigned retailers within Salsify

  • Identify and outline content needs for your strategic accounts. Support Syndication of retailer specific content/syndication opportunities (test and learns)

  • Own online item setup and out of stock management for strategic accounts

  • Identify and drive test and learn pilots for eCommerce platforms

  • Gather assets needed to drive digital shelf

  • Where necessary, develop and execute brand pages

  • Drive Club and Auto Channel eCommerce relationships internally and externally

  • Foster strong relationships with customer buying teams and key internal support teams

  • Attend trade meetings and trade conferences

  • Communicate eCommerce results

  • Manage monthly scorecard reporting process and recommendations to deliver expected sales and share growth for all of Omnichannel ecommerce.

  • Communicate marketplace and competitive knowledge regularly with COE stakeholders to recommend tactic adjustments and share learnings

  • Share best practices and learnings with the eCommerce Acceleration team

  • Case study development and share out

  • May perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4 year Bachelor’s Degree

  • Ability to influence change without direct ownership

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • 2-5 years related work experience

  • Experience analyzing and managing eCommerce platforms/ businesses

  • Organic, Paid Search optimization

  • Negotiation (Customer Contracts, Annual Terms, Promotional Engagements)

  • Category Management (Pricing Analysis, Assortment Analysis, Market Share Analysis)

Working Relationships & Environment

  • Reports to the Senior Manager, Global Ecommerce

  • Dotted line to National Account Manager, Ecommerce, Walmart, Club and Auto Channel

  • Closely collaborates with sales account team, Media lead, Content & Syndication Specialist, Digital Customer Analytics

  • Travel requirements up to 30%
