Position Summary
This position, based in Hong Kong China is part of a global team of engineers which develop and enhance innovative portable lighting products for consumers around the world. The individual is responsible for circuit design and evaluation as well as managing the overall product development for lighting projects.
Responsibilities
Design electronic circuits for lighting products to meet the product performance requirements.
Review, evaluate, and improve the electronic circuits of lighting products which is designed by others.
Lead new lighting projects following product development process.
Provide improvement solutions for existing products.
Effectively interact as a cross functional team which included Procurement, Marketing, SQD and TPM vendors.
Identify and evaluate new and existing technologies and application to new product innovation and well as cost and performance improvement of existing products.
Analyze and interpret data to meet project targets and objectives and make recommendations that drive efficiency and manage risk. Prepare and present project reports
Other duties as assigned including administrative process support and providing guidance to other category teams as required
What we are looking for
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in electronic circuit design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or other software for circuit design.
Good writing and oral communication skills in English and Chinese (Oral in Mandarin and Cantonese)
Preferred Skills and Experience
Lighting product design knowledge.
Proficiency in Solidworks or other 3D software for product design.
