Position Summary

The Marketing Assistant, Visibility is a key member of the Marketing Operations Team for the Americas, with focus on visibility execution (retail displays and signage, e-commerce and gift packs) under the supervision of Manager, Visibility – Americas, Global Auto Care.  This position has responsibility for learning and refining marketing techniques, business processes and the overall coordination necessary to properly administer our brand presence at retail.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Support the Manager, Visibility – Americas.  This role serves as the key link between the Americas Marketing Team, Shopper Team and Global Marketing Visibility team, combining a solid understanding of Energizer brand initiatives and core strategies across the Energizer Holdings portfolio including shopper insights.  This individual plays a role in the visibility strategy planning process, assisting in the development of marketing objectives, strategies and tactics across various accounts and is responsible for all visibility execution for the Americas.

  • Execute annual area business plan and custom visibility projects for Global Auto Care Brand portfolio (but may also support other EHI business segments:  Batteries, Lights and other Auto Care business) with responsibilities including project management, costing, MDG/SAP material setup, artwork and legal approvals, image library assets and sell sheet development/publication and SKU management analytics

  • Assist in managing key marketing functions and programs related to achieving profit, sales and share goals

  • Support day-to-day budget administrative tasks and manage budget including line item detail

  • Develop and maintain relationships with other functional areas within the organization that foster commitment, teamwork and excellence in development and execution.  May include formal team membership.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.  Marketing or Business Administration preferred.

  • 2 – 4 years relevant marketing experience

  • Strong analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Self-starter with strong desire to learn

  • Action-oriented with ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Proactive problem solver and strong collaborator

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • CPG experience

  • SAP experience

  • Project management/coordination experience

Working Relationships & Environment

  • Reports to Manager, Visibility - Americas.  Key relationships internally will include the Americas Marketing Team, Global Marketing, Global Creative Services, Shopper Marketing, Packaging Center of Excellence, Pricing and Revenue Management, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, E-Commerce, Supply Chain and Legal. External engagement will include agency and co-packing vendor partners.
