Position Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Manager E-Commerce Marketing, this role is designed to facilitate career growth in the fast-paced world of E-Commerce and Digital Marketing. On account of E-commerce duality, which day-to-day straddles information technology and creative applications, marketing candidates with both technical (i.e. excel, SEO, analytics) and artistic (i.e. Photoshop, HTML, advertising, marketing) proficiencies are encouraged to apply.

You'll work closely with external E-commerce channel partners to fulfill data requests, recommend content enhancements, and load promotional material. E-Commerce Content Associate Manager will work with Product Marketing and Sales Teams to gather, enrich, and merchandise product data and content. Overall, the associate manager is responsible for supporting the Armor All, STP and A/C Refrigerant brands to ensure consistent and accurate content delivery on all E-commerce platforms with an eye toward increasing product views and sales conversion rates. This role will also assist with launching promotions and supporting other channel customer requests/needs as they arise.

Accountabilities

  • Assist in developing highly effective, original and targeted marketing content for the promotion and sale of Energizer Global Auto Care products for use on customer websites in the US (80%), Canada, Latin America, EMEA and APAC (20%)

  • Assist in developing and publishing E-commerce copy, photography and video content for all customer websites

  • Evaluate copy based upon customer feedback, consumer feedback, product improvements, and market dynamics

  • Support SEO efforts across all E-commerce distribution channels and use SEO best practices to ensure product keyword listings are optimized for search rankings

  • Support photo and video shoots (strategy, samples, scripts, shot lists, required attendees, etc.)

  • Ensure content accuracy across all channels

  • Leverage 3rd party content publishing tools like WebCollage when/where appropriate

  • Grow to become owner and expert at managing select 3rd party tools to distribute and upload data to channel partner accounts

  • Support reporting and analysis for all E-commerce content metrics

  • Collaborate with all cross functional GAC and Energizer departments

  • Assist with the development of presentation materials

  • Assist with assets for retailer site promotional banners and advertising opportunities

  • Report new item status and web site content updates on a weekly basis

  • Track status of new items and monitor progress until product is fully updated on customer sites

  • Remain up to date and aware of latest trends related to E-commerce copy and advertising

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is required

  • Minimum of 3+ years in an E-commerce environment preferably managing or working with online retailers like Amazon.com and Walmart.com

  • Must be energetic and highly motivated with teamwork and leadership skills

  • Ability to critically think, analyze, and problem solve with an exceptional level of detail

  • Ability to write for a variety of media and audiences and understands how to appropriately tailor communication

  • SEO experience in respect to optimizing content

  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter

  • Ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring deadlines are met

  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite, particularly with Excel

  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly with Photoshop
