Support facility management and EHS program, including manual repairs and coordinating contractors, suppliers, vendors. Accountabilities

• Coordinate and oversee the work of outside business partners, contractors, suppliers, vendors, as well as the recycling program, etc. • Work with Facilities Manager to ensure building and facilities are up to federal, state, and local codes and guidelines. • Physically assist and maintain interior and exterior of property to ensure a safe environment for our workforce. • Manually perform basic facility preventative maintenance. • Conduct facilities, safety, and environmental audits and inspections on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis to ensure compliance and safe conditions in the plant. • Provide safety support to Operations. • Review, update and develop written standards with safety programs such as Hot Work, Confined Space, Powered Industrial Vehicles, Hazardous Communication, etc. • Administer the programs for Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE), prescription safety glasses, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), etc. • Conduct New Hire Orientation Safety Training. • Conduct & track maintenance training programs (LOTO, Scissor Lift, Forklift, Arc flash, etc.…) • Participate as a safety committee member. • Support the accident reporting and investigation process is completed. • Validate Job Safety Analysis’ (JSAs) for plant equipment and job tasks. • Maintain tracking and assist with Industrial Hygiene assessments and testing. • Coordinate and support annual OSHA required activities (e.g., evacuation drills, respirator training, hearing testing, etc.). • Maintain and update Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Binders / Database. • CPR/FA/AED responder and First Aid supply manager. • Monitor waste streams for compliance with recycling protocols. • Assist with disposal of RCRA Hazardous Waste and Non-Hazardous Waste streams. • Perform other duties as directed. Required Skills and Experience

• 2 years Facilities manufacturing experience or • AA/or Certification in Safety or Environmental Sciences

• Technical experience: All Office Suites, SAP • Weight: Lifting up to 40#, with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time. • Job requires: Leadership and mechanical abilities, self-direction, possess decision making, problem solving, conflict resolution, strong communication, and computer skills. • Physical capabilities: Stretching, lifting, climbing, twisting, turning, standing, pulling, pushing, reaching and bending.
