As a Master Data Specialist for Energizer's Global Auto Care division, you'll be responsible for the governance and oversight of the master data including material master specification. You will be responsible for end-to-end, wholistic materials analytics with a clear understanding of the flow, the interdependencies, and the relationships in order to mitigate potential risks and ensure accurate data collection. You work across multiple functions and collaborate with cross functional partners to execute the business unit goals and objectives.
Responsible for the new item set up process and ensuring all master data inputs/fields are updated and accurate
Responsible for the shepherding the change management process (stage gate) for all master data changes (i.e. bill of material, routing, material status codes)
Work closely with R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain & Finance on new material launches to ensure associated key master data inputs are provided in a timely manner
Support the material transition process to execute a seamless, flawless and invisible move to our customers
Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting to the business on the status of the data and identify critical gaps
- Governance and oversight of the master data for the entire Auto Care division
Required Skills and Experience
We recommend at least 2-4 years of experience in a CPG (Consumer Product Goods) manufacturing/distribution organization in multiple functions is preferred.
BS/BA (4 year undergraduate) degree is required
Must demonstrate a clear understanding of the cross functional master data relationships
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to identify risks & gaps in addition to making recommendations to mitigate and solve
Ability to multi task and execute plans/deadlines in a dynamic environment
Exhibit critical thinking/problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
Ability to use the Microsoft Office platform to analyze data, communicate risk and make recommendations or next steps
Excellent Interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
Preferred Skills and Experience
Prior SAP experience is required (MM/PP/SD/FICO/APO/SNP – Modules)
Prior Master Data governance or ownership is preferred
Working Relationships & Environment
Work closely with key cross functional partners to support the business: Engineering, Finance, Research & Development, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain and Research & Development
Working conditions are normal for an office environment
