The role will be responsible for supporting facility safety programs while performing duties related to unloading inbound receipts, stock put-a-ways, product picking, loading and movements throughout the distribution operation. The schedule for this position is 2nd shift, Tues-Fri from 3:30pm - 2:00am with overtime based on the business need.
Perform a variety of repetitive and routine duties as assigned to fulfill order requirements to the customer (picking units, transporting, loading, unloading)
Maintain an active Powered Industrial Truck licenses as required
Complete all required safety and regulatory training as applies
Understand the SAP WMS system and functionality of RF units
Insure all required paper work is complete and accurate.
Maintain fork lift and other lifting devices as required, including battery changing/charging, tank changing, water levels and charging areas, as it applies.
Interface with all levels of personnel in a positive, team building manner
Work from established procedures and/or verbal instructions.
Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with the Visual Management and 5S Standards.
Follow all prescribed Health, Safety and Environmental laws, rules and regulations.
Perform other duties as required or assigned
Escalate all issues affecting the key metrics: Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Required Skills and Experience
Weight: Lifting up to 60#.
Job requires: Powered industrial truck operators license, self-direction, possess decision making and problem solving skills, communication and basic computer skills.
Physical capabilities: Stretching, lifting, climbing, twisting, turning, standing, pulling, pushing, reaching and bending. Ability to work in a 12 hr. shift operation.
