Position Summary

As a Supply Chain Inventory Analyst for Energizer's Global Auto Care division, you'll be responsible for driving supply chain analytics on excess and obsolete inventory and the reporting function on monthly Integrated Business Process (IBP) meetings.  The position provides leading indicators of Supply Chain performance, so the organization is aware of current performance. The position will be responsible for vendor compliance reporting and will work at the direction of the Senior Manager of Supply Chain on a variety of issues, both internal and external, to ensure customers are being serviced according to their expectations.

Accountabilities

  • Measure and monitor Energizer Supply Chain performance to provide near real time indication of key customer metrics

  • Publish Customer calculated metrics to Energizer

  • Identify both internal and external opportunities and projects to close any gap between actual and expected performance

  • Identify and drive Supply Chain projects that reduce total Supply Chain cost to the customer

  • On a daily basis work with the Supply Chain and Operations teams to drive decisions that meet customer service level targets

  • Chief liaison to Customer Supply Chain contacts

  • Access customer data systems to provide market information to Energizer

  • Work with Customer Supply Chain, Transportation, Replenishment and Planning teams to ensure seamless execution and order management

  • Participate in Supply Chain projects at the Distribution Center which reduce total Supply Chain cost to the customer

  • Monitor SKU level forecast versus actual demand and revise supply plans as necessary

  • Analyze report and resolve supply issues and capacity constraints that may impact customer service levels

Specific Accountabilities

  • Gather presentation material from cross-functional team and assist with presentation of IBRs

  • Drive strategic insights across the organization that improve processes and procedures

Required Skills and Experience

  • BS/BA (4 year undergraduate) degree is required

  • We recommend at least 3 years of supply chain analysis experience

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and make recommendations & decisions

  • Good overall understanding of supply chain process flows and interdependencies

  • Strong Experience using SAP (MM/PP) including running reports out of SAP

  • Demonstrate critical thinking/problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with ability to decipher & analyze data to make recommendations or next steps

  • Ability to multi task and successfully develop and execute plans in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent Interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization

     

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience with CPG, or seasonal businesses is preferred

  • Capacity planning / materials replenishment / demand planning is preferred
