The Supply Planning Analyst is responsible planning goods within a vertical planning family that supports the Global Auto Care business. The individual will be working with internal/external partners/sources/vendors along with providing adhoc support in areas of reporting, analytics and transactions. The role will be a key contributor in supporting the supply and inventory planning portion of the IBP process for the business
Responsible for creating & maintaining the finite scheduling process for goods within the vertical planning family. Any supply risks and/or issues will be elevated to the associated cross functional partners to ensure awareness and alignment.
Responsible for creation of the monthly supply and inventory plan within the vertical planning family. The plan will be reviewed during the supply planning consensus meeting where all associated risks and opportunities are called out.
Support the department, facility and business with various adhoc reporting, cross functional iniatives and key meetings to drive business metrics and results.
Analyze and report out key metrics on a monthly/weekly/daily basis to leadership. Assist with monitoring and driving initiatives to improve result.
Ensure master planning data accuracy and integrity are in line with expectations. Data will be reviewed monthly/quarterly with leadership.
- Support the product life cycle transition process (phase in & out) as the business model adjusts to meet customer requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and make recommendations & decisions.
Prior production planning experience with internal and external manufacturing partners is required.
Good overall understanding of supply chain process flows and interdependencies.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills with ability to decipher & analyze data to make recommendations or next steps.
Ability to multi task and successfully develop and execute plans in a dynamic environment.
Excellent Interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
3 - 5 years of combined planning experience in on or more of the following areas: production and capacity planning / materials replenishment / demand planning is required
BS/BA (4 year undergraduate) degree is preferred
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience using SAP (MM/PP) is highly preferred
Previous experience with CPG or seasonal businesses is preferred
Working Relationships & Environment
- Work closely with key cross functional groups to effectively communicate risks/opportunities (Customer Service, Commercial Sales, Operations, Distribution, Quality and etc.)
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment
