Position Summary
This position will be responsible to plan & execute the plant master production schedule (Finish Goods) whilst being accountable to attain the target FG inventory goals and on time delivery. This includes but is not limited to review & release of plan orders, managing inter-plant requirements, being the liaison between plan finite schedulers and deployment/supply planners and prioritizing production based on supply and demand needs.
Responsibilities
Responsible to receive/process inter-plant orders; handles exception messages and plan/create deliveries.
Will be responsible for Master Production Scheduling at product level. Coordinate with plant finite schedules on product availability and communicate with Deployment/Supply Planners on product availability/delivery schedules. Liase with shipping function as needed.
Establish and execute purchase plans for affiliate and 3 rd party sourced products.
Mitigate constrains/request with the objective of meeting on time delivery with the necessary support functions.
Responsible to develop and publish S&OP plan for both local and regional review.
Will be required to manage supply, which includes, allocating FG to customers' orders, planning inventory to forecast, daily/weekly review process in place to track forecast versus actual sales order status, including SLOBS management.
Responsible to support process for new product creations. Coordinates with plant finite schedulers to manage new product cycle plan and product phase in, phase out schedules.
Validates and maintains integrity of information flow from ERP to the planning systems, maintains planning parameters (vice versa).
Supports inventory goals, track and publish performance, while balancing the organizations inventory and delivery objectives.
Will be responsible to initiate/support LEAN activities to continuously improve the business process, including regional projects.
What we are looking for
Minimum Diploma/Degree holder in related discipline, with 3 years of experience in Planning and analytical role. Preferably majoring in Supply Chain; Logistics discipline with CRM background.
Have a good appreciation of planning concepts.
Able to remain customer focus while balancing inventory goals.
Able to work with multi systems for planning and processing shop orders.
Experience using Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets, charts, pivot tables and using of functions to tabulate data.
Able to perform under pressure and demonstrate competency in both written and spoken English language.
Needs to be team player optimizing available resources.
APICS/CPIM; CSCP certified, preferred.
