Energizer Machine Operator in Fennimore, Wisconsin
We are seeking candidates for a Machine Operators position on our night shifts. Candidates will operate high speed rotary production equipment. General duties include monitor equipment to maintain high quality, standard run rates and low scrap. Performing general duties that are job specific to each area. Performing specified cleaning requirements, quality control checks and completing required electronic and paper documentation processes. Accountabilities

Required Skills and Experience
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Operate assigned equipment to produce a quality product. Shares the responsibility with other team members. 2. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following items: 1. Keep hoppers full 2. Order/Stock supplies 3. Keep gel, subassembly, and sealant full 4. Cover positions on the cell line for break coverage 5. Inspect finished raw cells 6. Clean equipment and other areas as specified by the supervisor 7. General cleaning of assigned equipment and disinfectant of primary controls. 8. Make and record all quality checks as specified by the supervisor and the Quality Engineering Department 9. Follow lock-out, tag-out procedures 10. Specified cleaning during 30 minute and 4 hr. PM’s. 11. Report SAP production 12. Production setup and crossover for incoming shift. 3. Constantly observe the performance of the equipment to prevent jams. In the event of a jam or malfunction, the operator is expected to clear the problem as quickly as possible in order to maintain a high level of operating efficiency. 4. Have sufficient initiative and ingenuity to occasionally make workable suggestions for improvement of existing equipment. It is required that the Cell Line Operator be "safety minded" at all times. 5. Insure that the quality of the work meets established standards and specifications. Complete all quality checks as required. 6. Knows the product and process well enough to anticipate problems with the equipment or material before they happen and thus avoid scrap and downtime. 7. Diagnose equipment difficulties and correct those requiring machine adjustments. 8. This position requires occasional overtime above the scheduled overtime that comes with the continuous work schedule.
The Cell Line Operator should be familiar with the quality requirements of the job as stated in the Job Quality Analysis and will be responsible for following all quality procedures as prescribed by the quality representative of the Value Stream team. Since quality is such an important part of this job, all potential or actual quality problems must be reported to the supervisor immediately. High standards of housekeeping are to be practiced and maintained by the Cell Line Operator at all times. The Cell Line Operator, due to the nature of the job and particular circumstances at the time, may be called upon by their supervisor to perform other tasks in connection with their jobs which may overlap with others. It is understood that in instances of this nature, the tasks as assigned will be performed in the best interest of the plant. The description of this job covers only a general outline of the duties of the job. Due to the varied nature of the daily work operations, it is impossible to include a detailed description of all miscellaneous tasks a Primary Operator (Large Size) may be called upon to do from day to day. This individual trained through on-site and on-the-job instruction in the handling of all hazardous waste to conform to the EPA's RCRA regulations (CFR 40 part 265.16). A general outline of safety and leadership duties follows:
1. Safety 2. Thoroughly know and understand the JSHA and follow all safety procedures. 3. Safety glasses with side shields will be worn at all times in the production area. 4. Wear all personal protective equipment (i.e., hearing protection, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, etc.) in areas where they are required. Working Relationships & Environment
