Energizer MRO - Dispatch Operator (Main Day Shift - Key Job) in Franklin, Indiana

The primary function of the MRO Dispatch Operator is to perform, with little supervision, the routine and extensive duties of the MRO Stores and associated areas.

This Dispatch Operator will be responsible for following all quality procedures as prescribed by the quality representative of the Value Stream team. Since quality is such an important part of this job, all potential or actual quality problems must be reported to the supervisor immediately.

High standards of housekeeping are always to be practiced and maintained by the MRO – Dispatch Operator. Due to the nature of the job and circumstances at the time, the MRO – Dispatch Operator may be called upon by their supervisor to perform other tasks in connection with their jobs which may overlap with others. It is understood that in instances of this nature, the tasks as assigned will be performed in the best interest of the plant. Accountabilities

• Process purchase orders for fabricated and/or commercial UPN items. • Work with outside suppliers on orders and deliveries and make sure data is entered into SAP. • Check orders daily for any revisions/price changes, update SAP and perform weekly inventories as requested by supervisor. • Evaluate and process requests for the set-up of new UPN items. • Perform inventory cycle counts and resolve any discrepancy between actual parts on hand and SAP. • Process UPN reorder status and material receipts daily. • Responsible for critical tooling management. • Process shop orders and repair orders for UPN items. • Stock UPN items into their designated locations as they are received by MRO Stores and/or assign a location for any new items received in SAP. • Maintain 5S standards as required by the Maintenance Technical Services Value Stream. • Service MRO Stores counter utilizing bar code technology. • Follow-up on UPN stock outs not available at the time of request at the MRO Stores counter. • Perform P.M. duties such as full monitoring of computerized work orders and entering new P.M. procedures and parts measurement data into SAP as requested by PM Coordinator. • Perform all SOX audit standards as directed by the Accounting Value Stream. • Complete all reports (inventory, turns, cycle counts, obsolescence, etc.) as directed by your supervisor. • Kit parts for PM and planned work orders. • Process material rejections (commercial and fabricated parts) and follow up with vendor for disposition and credit. • Coordinate tooling inventory with the TDC (Tooling Distribution Center) associates. • Perform dimensional inspections on designated UPN fabricated parts with recommended equipment and techniques utilizing critical dimensions noted on blueprints. (Additional schooling and/or training may be required - blueprint reading, measuring devices, etc..). • Perform any other MRO Stores miscellaneous tasks as required by members of the Value Stream. • Maintain the work area in a clean orderly manner. Periodically wipe down the equipment. • Promote good housekeeping throughout plant. • Operators are expected to make constructive recommendations for operations improvement and to help reduce waste. • Support a team-based environment by helping others, participating in, or the general support of various teams. Required Skills and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent • Must be able stand, sit, bend, twist, climb, walk, ride, push, pull, & lift. • Must have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills and abilities. • Must have good verbal and written communication skills. • Requires moderate computer skills. Working Relationships & Environment
