Provide leadership and direction in a fast-paced multi-shift battery manufacturing facility. Accountability for colleague safety, product quality, and the achievement of key performance objectives within the Value Stream (VS); and those reporting to the Value Stream Manager (VSM).

The leadership of daily Value Stream execution and improvement in core competencies (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery)
Participates in the development of VS specific financial commitments
Provides clear goals for direct reports and provides regular feedback and coaching
Develops others within the VS to enable them for future roles within the business
Leads cross-functional teams
Thorough understanding of VS specific product costs including Direct Labor, Value Engineering, Period Costs, and Major Maintenance
Leading the startup of packaging operations as they transition from other North America Energizer locations into the Franklin facility.
Provide coaching and mentoring to develop an Energizer Culture of Integrity, Respect, and a Passion for Winning.
Assists with the development of annual budgets
Summarizes and shares key operational results with plant management monthly
Collaborates with all operational team members towards meeting plant-specific objectives
Build and lead a key team of 5-8 salary direct reports and 140+ hourly colleagues across multiple shifts.
Build and maintain ongoing operational support of Contract Labor Agency and their leadership.
Required Skills and Experience
Production Supervision experience
Thorough cost & systems (SAP) understanding
Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field
Financial Acumen related to product costs
Results-focused - Achieving our Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and strategic objectives
Demonstrated passion for customer focus
Builds Relationships amongst colleagues at all levels of the organization
Success developing individual contributors and future leaders in the business

Familiar with safety and quality processes and systems
Exposure to maintenance systems and processes
Familiar with HR processes and systems
Understanding of engineering projects and processes
Mechanical aptitude - equipment and systems
Working Relationships & Environment
Reports to Plant Manager
North American safety managers and shared services
Key relationships internally include Franklin Distribution, External Suppliers, Integrated Supply Chain, IT, Accounting / Finance, and HR
Travel requirements up to 10%, within North America
Time spent between office and manufacturing environment
Work hours to allow frequent interaction and ability to deliver business results to colleagues working all shifts
