Position Summary

A chance to manage well known accounts ranging from retail to DIY, the Account Manager (AM) position is a key contributor in delivering profitable growth for Energizer. The AM plays a critical role in developing customer relationships and by strategically identifying and addressing opportunities of revenue, growth, profit, product distribution, merchandising, pricing, and promotion. The AM works cross functionally with internal teams to achieve clearly stated business objectives

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business plans that efficiently achieve customer & Energizer goals/objectives

  • Communicate industry and competitor developments and recommend adjustments in business plan and tactics to aggressively respond to changes, and lead response execution

  • Manage overall customer P&L and deliver financial targets, actively pursuing opportunities, while mitigating risks

  • Manage monthly reporting and recommendations to deliver expected sales and GM plan

  • Foster strong customer relations with external Partners, customer buying teams and key customer internal support teams including finance, supply chain, operations, shopper activation, retail, and trade marketing to ensure long term partnership that promotes sales growth

  • Collaborate with Energizer Customer Supply Chain Team and Customer Planning Team to drive initiatives, regular status meetings. Full responsibility for forecasting for the assigned accounts

  • Manage all customer contracts, trade fund management and promotion ROI analysis

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

  • 2-4 years of sales related experience; expertise in consumer package good environment but not limited

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and proactively identify challenges and recommend solutions

  • Experience or ability to work effectively in teams

  • Proficient knowledge and use of MS Office required (Excel & PowerPoint)

  • FMCG sales training

  • Experience with Nielsen, IRI and analytic tools

  • Non food background preferred
