Position Summary

Supervision of the Preventive and Corrective Mechanical Maintenance teams of all machines and equipment in the production areas, in addition to their respective facilities.

Supervision of corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance activities, aiming to ensure maximum availability of equipment as well as the shortest possible intervention time, at the lowest cost and without affecting the physical integrity of Employees in the area of activity

Responsible for ensuring the achievement of maintenance indicators, resolving anomalies, with a main focus on safety, cost management and zero rework

Responsible for executing maintenance plans and all orders generated in the system by the team, must ensure prioritization together with the areas of all necessary activities

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with safety standards in maintenance activities and projects planned by checking working conditions as well as the use of control tools;

Ensure safety in work in the area, by observing safety standards, using mandatory equipment, as well as observing cleanliness and organization in the workplace, aiming to carry out work in a safe and clean manner;

Contribute to increasing and improving Unit Safety, raising awareness and guiding maintenance teams to carry out work with all necessary PPE and within safety and cleaning standards, as well as through proposals and actions aimed at reducing the level of risk in activities;

Promote an organized work environment as well as keep the entire maintenance team committed and motivated, through actions that encourage professional development and team spirit, seeking to obtain the best results in the area and employee satisfaction;

Ensure compliance with the expense budget and maintenance cost;

Coordinate the inspection and general maintenance of machines, equipment and facilities, ensuring the maintenance plan of the manufacturing unit;

Manage solutions for daily or emergency problems on production lines;

Analyze maintenance incidents and propose improvement actions according to quality standards;

Constantly monitor information regarding the availability of parts in the warehouse;

Analyze the need to purchase parts according to inspections, supporting the Maintenance Planning area;

Supervise production line shutdowns for cleaning and maintenance;

Distribute activities to your team with a focus on deadlines and quality, according to planning and maintenance program;

Ensure the functioning of the operations area within the required technical standards;

Carry out, together with mechanics, renovation of machines and equipment;

Create budgets related to maintenance;

Request purchase orders for your area;

Support the Engineering sector with new expansion, improvement or innovation projects;

Promote the appropriate use of available facilities and equipment, always paying attention to safety and quality standards;

Ensure decision-making and team supervision based on performance indicators shared by the SHEA, Quality, PCM and Production sectors;

Share results according to indicators with the team;

Actively participate in daily and weekly meetings to gain knowledge and improve performance;

Feed the operating system with information related to maintenance and create some work routines;

What we are looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronic Engineer.

Minimum of 3 years in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance leadership.
