The role of an Equipment Engineer is high calibre person that requires someone with good mix of technical and people skills. In this role, you will ensure Equipment is maintained to high level of efficiency with low scrap and waste. You will lead a team of Assistant Engineer and Technician to maximize equipment uptime cost effectively to meet or exceed customers’ expectation and business goals.
We have two Equipment Engineers openings currently and you will be based at our Singapore Plant located in 25 Gul Way, reporting to the Principal Engineer. This is a hands-on role and required someone who is very independent and meticulous at work. You must be strong in financial sense with the ability to work within constraint budget.
Account for all Equipment maintenance for the Plant.
Lead a team of Assistant Engineer and Technician to ensure equipment are maintained to high level of efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement activities to reduce operational cost
Ensure low scrap and waste; maintenance cost is within the allocated budget.
Reduce down time, improve efficiency and reliability of the Equipment.
Required Skills and Experience
At least five (5) years of working experience in equipment maintenance within manufacturing environment
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Competent in AutoCAD software usage.
PLC programming and SAP experience would be a plus.
Experience in leading diversify and cross-cultural team.
Strong project management experience.
Strong financial sense in managing maintenance cost.
Influencing, Coaching and leadership skills.
Hands on and independent person.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Relationships & Environment
Reporting to Principal Engineer, the incumbent will work closely with Operations and Quality team.
