Position Summary

Are you ready to utilise your experience in sales and create records in a highly energetic and achieving environment?

We are currently looking to hire an Area Sales Manager to cover sales in the General Trade and Local Modern Trade channels in the area of Kuantan, Pahang. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the candidate would be developing and managing the business towards Energizer’s growth and also play a large part in the overall sales revenue.

This is an ideal role for an experienced and highly motivated sales candidate who is looking to be successful in a well-known international MNC. Prior General Trade field work and distributor management across consumer products space in Malaysia is preferred for this position.

Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop Key Dealers toward company growth goals in products distribution and market share

  • Develop strategic directions / guidelines for Distributor Management & Operations for sustainable growth

  • Route to market blue print (territory management)

  • Direct involvement in developing and negotiation of TTA

  • Plan and ensuring implementation of GT and LMT monthly cycle plan and monthly activities

  • Grow sales revenue by develop LMT and key customer’s business plan

Required Skills and Experience

  • Diploma but Degree in Business preferred

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ Distributor sales experience or related

  • Knowledgeable in territory management especially in the Areas mentioned. Possess demonstrated distributor management, field work and key account planning experience

  • Experienced in using SFA / DMS resources on field sales activities

  • Good Interpersonal skills with proficient use of English and Bahasa language. Chinese and/or dialect language is a plus

  • Highly passionate and motivated personality
