Energizer Brand Activation Manager, Global Marketing Activation - EU in Madrid, Spain

Position Summary

To conceptualize, plan & lead local brand activations across key customers helping achieve improved shares & business health. This position will support Western Europe Distributor Markets (Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands & Ireland) for all Energizer product categories.

Accountabilities

  • Ownership & direct responsibility for execution of annual marketing cycle plan and associated A&P budgets

  • Responsible for analyzing and proposing tactical changes to range pricing and packaging,

  • Supervising execution of consumer promotions while recommending local activity to increase engagement

  • Monitoring and periodic reporting of critical elements of competitive actions related to product, price, distribution, visibility and promotions.

  • Local planning and close collaboration with commercial teams to support visibility, distribution width and depth solutions, and establish portfolio ranging needs by channel and market.

  • Provide Nielsen review updates to Hub and Commercial team.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Manage relationships with BTL and digital agencies to ensure local planning and execution of activities

  • Critically analyze available retail audit data and category trends, review pricing, portfolio and distribution for business segments vs. competition in major markets

  • Work with finance to analyze business segments for range volume, net sales and gross margin and issue updates to Cluster leadership and commercial teams

  • Liaise with Int’l CatDev team to source decks that can be adapted to support segments growth across channels.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2 – 3 years of operational experience in brand, shopper marketing, and exposure to category management.

  • Solid understanding of Grocery/Food channel, DIY customers & other modern trade key accounts.

  • Strong conceptual understanding of marketing and number/analytical skills (prior experience with Nielsen/GFK/IRI data is preferable).

  • Strong Collaboration and communication skills – Fluent English language skills mandatory.

  • Agency and supplier management experience

  • Degree or equivalent required with an emphasis on Business, Marketing or similar

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Brand management experience

  • Trade Marketing experience incl Key Account Category management.

Working Relationships & Environment

  • Travel requirement – International & local travel - up to 10% to 15% annually.
