Position Summary
Searching for multi-trade maintenance technicians to join our team. In these positions, they will be responsible for industrial machinery upkeep, working alone or with a crew. They must be well rounded individuals who can perform efficient work on a variety of equipment, executing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, steam and general maintenance.
Responsibilities
Accurately troubleshoot common mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment problems.
Perform root-cause analysis to diagnose, repair and implement permanent solutions to equipment failures.
Perform and direct set-up and adjustments of equipment to ensure conformance to specifications.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement that reduces operating costs.
Cleans and lubricates machinery and equipment following preventive maintenance schedules along with identifying new needs for PM schedules that include suggested frequencies, type of maintenance, and why there is a need.
Discusses machine operation variations with supervisors and operators to diagnose problems and repairs of machine.
Basic understanding and can completed basic welding jobs.
have a working knowledge of pumps and piping systems.
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive and corrective maintenance requirements. Equipment and tools include motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, coupling and motor alignment, roller chain/sprockets alignment, conveyor systems, and production machines.
Capable of following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. Troubleshoots malfunctions and complies with NEC standards on wiring and installations.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; and using precision measuring tools. • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
We we are looking for
High School or GED equivalent Required
Three or more years’ experience as a skilled tradesperson, working in a manufacturing/industrial setting
Strong verbal and written communication is required
Computer Skills including Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Fluent in English, verbally and written
Physically able to stand for extended periods of time
Able to lift up to 50lbs
Knowledgeable and competent in safety disciplines stipulated by OSHA
Candidate must be able to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Be willing to work any shift, and work overtime as needed
Wear all personal protective equipment (i.e., hearing protection, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, etc.) in areas where they are required.
