Position Summary
We are looking for driven and creative summer intern to assist with lab procedure updates while gaining experience in a laboratory environment:
Updating revision controlled lab procedures and S.O.P.s
Performing chemical inventory
Assist Lab technicians.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidates will be pursuing a degree in a field of science or engineering and be familiar with basic laboratory techniques in relevant areas. The intern must be an individual who is detail oriented, friendly, and thrives in a highly collaborative environment. Qualified candidates will exhibit the following characteristics:
Pursuing a degree in a science related field involving laboratory testing.
High level of initiative and the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to document results, analyze data, draw conclusions, and communicate findings.
Familiarity with theoretical and practical aspects of laboratory techniques and safe practices.
Basic computer skills of data entry and word processing.
Ability to work onsite. M-F 8am to 4:30pm.
Willingness to work in an industrial setting.
