Position Summary

Sales are a key part of our growth and we are looking for a highly motivated team member! We value and reward our sales professionals. This is a role where we offer independence and autonomy, coupled with achievable targets and a high level of inclusive and positive support.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this position is responsible for the growth of sales to new and existing customer’s bases within Victoria and the development of long-term business relationships.

You will gain exposure into multiple channels – Independent Food, Electrical Wholesale/Retail, Independent Hardware and Auto.

Accountabilities

  • Maintain an existing customer base whilst developing new business growth

  • Achieve sales KPI’s and meet quarterly targets

  • Develop new business opportunities to increase sales

  • Create and maintain customer pricing and margins

  • Identify, develop, and develop new areas of growth

  • Work co-operatively and passionately within a busy sales team environment

  • Maintaining regular call cycles - Regional and Metro areas

Specific Accountabilities

  • Proven sales experience in managing customer accounts and growing business

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad customer base

  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously

  • Aptitude for working with computers, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems

Required Skills and Experience

  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related disciplines

  • Exceptional negotiation and customer service skills

  • Demonstrated sales experience in managing customer accounts and growing business

  • Demonstrated tracked record of field sales experience within the FMCG (preferably in Grocery). Be passionate by the desire to hit and exceed targets and make the most of every opportunity

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad customer base

  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously but also as a part of a larger team.

  • Aptitude for working with computers, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems

  • Professional personal presentation; Good organisational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, and a passion and desire for results

  • Highly motivated and achievement-driven, with the ability to communicate at all levels

Working Relationships & Environment

  • Collaborate with Internal Customer within Energizer to achieve Critical Metrics

  • Develop Multiple Retailer relationships with a view of enhancing sales and profit across the state.

  • Demonstrate a high level of intuition for Business. Developing, maintaining, communicating and driving thorough business plans.

  • Demonstrate a demeanor that contributes to the Energizer Culture and become a Brand ambassador.

  • Understanding and appreciation around the Energizer consumer in the Market place.
