Energizer Materials, Intern in Middleton, Wisconsin
Support research and development activities at the Hearing Aid Battery Group during summer (June-August) of 2019.
•Work with a member of the hearing aid battery technology team to support R&D activities while developing skills in an industrial setting.
•Under guidance and supervision, carry out laboratory testing, run experiments, operate instrumentation, generate and tabulate data for senior staff.
•Ability to work full-time (up to 40 hours a week)
Required Skills and Experience
•Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program at an accredited university.
•Minimum GPA of 3.0
•Prior experience working in a laboratory environment is a plus but not mandatory.
•Needs to be a hands-on individual with an interest in laboratory work.
•Prior exposure to handling chemicals is a plus.
•Interest/aptitude in the science and technology field.
•Basic PC proficiency, with ability to work on MS Office suite- Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Working Relationships & Environment
Working conditions are normal for an R&D laboratory and office environment.
