Product Marketing Intern
Provide assistance to the Marketing and Sales teams with day-to-day reporting, analysis, and various project work. Some administrative support required.
oAssist the Marketing team to drive product changes and updates through the new product development process, including coordinating meetings, completing new product development process forms and working with several departments including Supply Chain, Accounting, Packaging Engineering, Regulatory, R&D, Graphics as well as potential overseas colleagues (Washington UK).
oRegularly visit retailers' websites and social outlets to research products, pricing and competition information relevant to category.
oCollaborate with creative, tech and trade teams to develop internal performance charts quarterly.
oAssist in development and review of packaging artwork.
oCoordinate and schedule internal meetings.
•Meeting and Event Coordination:
oSchedule and conduct bi-weekly legal review meetings.
oCoordinate and procure samples, prototypes and marketing support materials for Sales Meetings and events.
oSales Support/Sales Materials
o Contribute to the Marketing team with key sales materials. This includes maintaining Sell sheets and composing product claims document.
oAssist the Marketing and Sales team to drive changes and product updates on the B2B website. This includes adding new items or new customers, editing existing images or copy, and updating pricing.
o Assist Marketing team specifically with Power Point presentations, prototypes, and samples coordination.
• Portfolio Management:
o Facilitate SKU rationalization process.
o Maintain and update product sell sheets and quick reference menus.
Required Skills and Experience
Education and Experience Profile
•Actively completing BS/BA in Business with minimum of one year completed.
•Marketing related job experience preferred.
•Ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
•Strong analytical abilities.
•Strong communication and written skills.
•Ability to work well in a team setting.
•Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint required.
