This is a permanent part time role within our business – and one of the many opportunities to lead by example. You'll be ensuring that displays are well stocked and in prime locations within stores, and therefore you'll have a direct impact on our profitability and growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys flexible working hours and the challenges of FMCG merchandising.
You'll need to be a ‘people-person' as you will work closely with a variety of people – everyone from the internal Sales Colleagues through to a range of store managers.
You'll lead on selling new lines, and maintaining regular call cycles. You will also:
•Attend regular merchandising and sales calls and meetings
•Maintain up-to-date off-location displays and fixtures
•Pre-sell promotions, order stock and negotiate prime in-store positions
•Build innovative eye-catching displays during promotions
•Enter daily information into Salesforce
•Provide market intelligence on competitors and pricing surveys
Required Skills and Experience
Ideally you should have some experience as a merchandiser in the Consumer Goods industry. This should include a keen eye for detail, and you'll be disciplined, and forward thinking – with a sense of ownership towards your role. You should have good communication skills, time management and computer literacy
