Energizer Manager, Global Marketing Activation - B2B International in Remote, United Kingdom

Position Summary

Manager, Brand Activation B2B is responsible for the development and execution of the B2B Marketing Plan, supporting the B2B Channel business plan. He / She will work closely with the B2B Director, developing strategies to grow the INTL B2B business whilst driving SSE initiatives across the B2B organization. This could include, Point of Sales tools, customer promotions, sales presentations, digital assets, electronic catalogues & retail interfaces and other sales tools that will support the growth opportunity in the specific B2B retail environment. The B2B Brand Manager will also work closely with local Commercial and Marketing teams, gathering competitive insights and communicating INTL strategies and plans which support their business.


  • Support B2B Channel Director in B2B channel & client analysis

  • Assemble reports and presentations

  • Contribute to prepare sales presentations incl. quotations, proposals, slide shows, and product capability booklets

  • Make recommendations to increase results

  • Develop and present to Senior Marketing Leadership the Annual Marketing Plan B2B.

  • Create and maintain calendar of activities, working with both the local Commercial & Marketing teams

  • Lead marketing and market channel initiatives (retail, on line, contract) that meet both brand and customer expectations, as per agreements between the clients, the local Sales teams and the B2B Channel Director

  • Develop necessary Point of Sales tools

  • Develop and execute promotional campaigns

  • Develop brochures, catalogues & electronic catalogues, technical instructions, fact sheets, and information booklets

  • Develop video content in support of key innovations and MCP initiative for customer and on line application.

  • Liaise with external vendors and agencies to ensure that their work meets the organization’s requirements, deadlines, and budget

  • Coordinate with DI and Category to enable the delivery of digital communication assets for use on customer websites.

  • Manage, maintain and update as necessary the B2B Websites.

  • Inform and direct Marketing Operations in the relevant Master Data standards required by B2B customers.

  • Ensure the ESG team are kept abreast of B2B sustainability needs and their impact on master data.

  • Ensure that objectives in terms of availability, visibility, volume and customer price of products are achieved

  • Manage and build close business relationship with key stakeholders in the markets

  • Seek understanding from the local markets of which sales tool would be useful and meaningful to develop centrally

  • Champion the usage of the centrally developed tools in the full B2B channel regardless of market

  • Manage and maintain the dedicated online B2B resource centre with all marketing assets.

  • Monitor and evaluate programs and activities to measure effectiveness and recommend improvements as needed

  • Contribute to manage and build close business relationship with key customers

  • Manage the central B2B A&P budget

  • Manage ROI for his/her specific activities

Required Skills and Experience

  • University Degree in Business

  • Fluent in English

  • A minimum of 2 - 5 years extensive working experience in trade marketing

  • Experience in B2B, with B2B distribution preferred.

  • Proven track record of working in a multicultural environment

  • Familiarity in working in a complex matrix environment – desirable

  • Household sector experience – desirable

Technical skills:

  • Trade Marketing skills

  • Product oriented

  • Digital asset creation including electronic catalogues.

  • At ease with human relation and networking

  • Agency management

  • Knowledge of market research methods and analysis – Nielsen and/or GfK knowledge a plus

  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting

  • Computer literacy
