Responsible to develop the business relationship for a specific customers’ portfolio.
As the main customer contact, he / she guarantees the continuity of the customer relationship, as well as the achievement of targeted results in compliance with the corporate strategy.
Objectives & Responsibilities
Lead and negotiate listing and terms negotiation of Company brands with Key Accounts
Support and recommend execution of annual customers agreements in interaction with Category Management (Cat.Man.) Dpt. and Field Sales Force (and Global Account team if necessary).
Create targets, review and recommend corrective actions by customers in Annual Business Plan
Support and recommend definition of the National Sales policy and Marketing plans
Coordinate customer specific approach of brands’ development with Category Manager to develop performances of assigned accounts (recommend activities related to in-store space, retail price, promotion and trade activity)
Report actual financials terms to Customer Sce. And Business Finance Dpt. on adequate assigned tools
Pro-actively manage legal terms with Controllership Dpt. to optimize working capital (payment terms, cash discount, penalties,...)
Report and update accurate forecast on assortment and promotions via adequate tools to
Marketing, Category Management and Demand Planning Dpt.
Keep up to date with trade and competitor developments and ensure proactive communication with customers and across the business
Network extensively within accounts in all relevant Dpt., developing positive working
relationship in order to maximize leverage of all brands
Required Skills and Experience
Educated to degree level (i.e. Business School) or equivalent, you have a minimum 3 years’ experience in Category Management and commercial function.
You know Hyper and Supermarkets’ customers and have managed a business relationship with such customers
You have managed to perfectly understand the national and central relationship with customers
You have a strong appetite for the business relationship, in particular negotiation.
You have good interpersonal skills, are able to resist to pressure, demonstrate ability to persevere and be highly reactive
You know how to organize and prioritize your workload
You are fluent in English
