Position Summary
The Marketing Executive France & Italy supports the work of the Brand Activation Marketing Team and assists in the development and execution of all marketing strategies, campaigns, and events.
Day to day, you will help to create content, track results, build relationships with our sales team, and otherwise ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activations. Often, you will act as the intermediary between Marketing and other cross-functional teams within our France & Italy organizations.
Responsibilities
Supports execution of marketing plans locally to meet business objectives in line with global direction
Participates in delivering winning activation program that drives shopper interest and maximized sales performance from brand initiatives.
Adapts and leverages marketing deliverables: any assets, merchandising and/or PoS materials to support excellence in retail presence and best in class visibility consistent with the international marketing cycle plan.
Works with local sales team to develop customer marketing activations that create commercial wins using local data and trade/channel knowledge.
Works with graphic agencies and content strategists to create engaging visuals and copy
Produces and distributes sales tools including training, trade catalogues, selling sheets, brochures… creative support needed by Sales to communicate activation plans, product innovations and activities to customers.
Adapts and leverages central Visibility tools and assets to provide best in class retail presence and in-store communication.
Ensures that the Marketing portal is up to date and providing stakeholders with all necessary materials relevant to the market and supports the team in delivering timely communication to drive brands and new product launches (newsletter, email, presentation…)
Monitors competitive ATL and BTL programs and conduct research into consumer trends and behaviors and reports to Brand Managers
Helps to create marketing analytics for growth opportunities in collaboration with Brand Managers, new product initiatives such as business cases and presentations.
Manages the development and execution of materials for customer trade shows and expos.
Participates in strategic meetings organization (marketing plans, sales convention, regional meetings, etc)
Participates in media plan execution (TV, digital, social, press, OOH…) and helps designing media material.
What we are looking for
Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or similar discipline.
Proven international experience. French and Italian native, or fluent. English full professional proficiency.
Minimum 1 -2 years of business experience in a CPG company, ideally in Brand or Trade Marketing. Experience as a sales representative would be a plus.
Must collaborate well (team player) and have strong organizational skills
Exposure to working directly with customers and sales teams
Demonstrated competencies in collaboration, influence, customer focus, critical thinking and achieving results in alignment with business goals.
Comfortable taking initiative and collaborating cross functionally and across geographies as well as to peers and senior leaders alike
At ease with oral presentation
High level of computer skills in Microsoft Office
