Position Summary
The Marketing Assistant, Shopper Activation is an entry level position that will assist Shopper Activation manager and associate manager with customer-specific promotional merchandising and point of sale materials while also managing the display tracking process for a portion of the shopper team.
Accountabilities
Integral in customer-specific promotional merchandising execution for top customers
Lead, initiate, manage and track display through the internal process to completion
Assists Shopper Manager team with sales support requests
Specific Accountabilities
Collaborate cross-functionally to project manage the execution of customer-specific promotional efforts, inclusive of but not limited to display and/or assortment costing, artwork approvals and delivery timeline management
Schedule and lead display planning meetings
Create Project Briefs and populate costing forms
Update and own bill of materials for custom retailer displays
Update display catalogs and sell sheets as needed
Be engaged with the creative agency status, focusing on project management of creative jobs across specific accounts relating to display artwork and other promotional needs
May also perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
BA/BS required (4-year degree)
1-2 years of related experience, preferably Marketing
Very strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task
Detail oriented
Highly motivated and able to work independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Works well in a team environment
Preferred Skills and Experience
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency strongly preferred
Consumer packaged goods experience preferred

- Key relationships internally will include North America Shopper Activation, Central Marketing Activation, Supply Chain, Pricing and Revenue Management, Accounting, and Finance

- Limited travel required
