Position Summary
The Assistant Manager, Pricing & Revenue Management, is responsible for driving and accelerating profitable revenue growth by optimizing customer pricing and assortment strategy. This position focuses on providing data-driven recommendations on pricing and assortment, as well as the implementation of pricing governance across the North American Commercial organization.
Responsibilities
Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Trade Marketing and Category to execute improvements in pricing and pricing governance processes
Gather data to support the Commercial organization in implementing market-wide price increases
Govern list and invoice pricing for batteries, lights and auto care
Build metric-driven scorecards to demonstrate improvements in profitability and risk
Utilize Power BI to enhance reporting processes and drive accountability
Use story telling techniques to share data in a way that influences better decisions for our customer sales teams
Exhibit strong analytical skills for ad-hoc reporting, insights, and project requests
Build internal partnerships to effectively influence key stakeholders
Demonstrate critical thinking on assigned tasks and take initiative to find opportunities to add value, improve processes, or address additional needs
Operate with a high degree of agility & flexibility in balancing multiple initiatives at once
Use a combination of analytical and communication skills to develop recommendations, influence commercial decisions, and govern related processes
Share best practices across customer and channel teams
Be relied on for additional ad hoc projects as needed
Develop, automate, monitor and report metrics
May perform other duties as assigned
What we are looking for
Experience: 3+ years with increasing responsibility in Pricing Analytics, Finance, Trade Marketing and/or Category Management
Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI
Ability to combine multiple data sets using advanced Excel functions and generating data driven insights
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Excellent attitude, interpersonal and communications skills
Strong analytical ability with a passion for numbers and problem-solving
Results oriented with proven track record of delivering against expectations
Strong objectivity and comfortable making decisions based on facts and supporting rationale
Ability to influence without having direct authority
Consumer products background preferred
