Energizer Associate Manager, Global Demand Planning and IBP Process Owner (Remote) in Saint Louis, Missouri

Position Summary

This role is responsible for establishing global best practices and standardized processes for supply planning across all Energizer’s Global business. The Associate Manager, Global Demand Planning and IBP Process Owner will also create global standardization for supply planning master data maintenance and ensure overall health of the global supply plan. This role will direct each region to follow defined processes and utilize best practices for supply planning within IBP. This role will also assess and develop our IBP Subject Mater Experts. In partnership with IT and critical stakeholders, identifying opportunities for enhancement and supporting the development of business cases for adoption/implementation.

Accountabilities

  • Advocate for planning excellence by driving adherence to standardized processes and maximizing utilization of our planning tool(s)

  • Has significant influence/collaboration within the Global Supply Tower overseeing the global supply plan performance

  • Challenge teams to continually improve demand fulfilment and maintain inventory targets

  • Development of standardized training tools and training resource control for planning colleagues globally

  • Assures leveraging of industry best practices

Specific Accountabilities

  • Provides indirect leadership to a global supply planning team of 65 colleagues across 4 regions, planning over 45K SKU’s and $3B in revenue

  • Oversees global supply planning processes through our monthly cycles of S&OP, ensuring each market adheres to expected processes and cadence of review

  • Prepares and presents summaries of global supply plan fulfilment and inventory targets to support the S&OP process, providing direction to prevent and eliminate deficiencies

  • Works with global planning teams to develop standard operating procedures for utilization of the IBP planning tool

  • Develops regional SMEs to assess the global supply planning teams’ utilization of the IBP planning tool relative to our standards, identifying training needs, and creating resolution plans

  • Stays up to date on industry best practices, particularly as they relate to the IBP tool and any associated upgrades or developments

  • Identifies opportunities for enhancement of our IBP tool and supports the development of business cases for adoption/implementation

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years Supply Chain experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of supply planning experience, CPG preferred

  • Knowledge of supply/demand planning software tools, especially SAP’s Integrated Business Planning (IBP) preferred

  • International savvy, able to understand and be sensitive to cross cultural relationships

  • Strong interpersonal and business communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills

  • MS Office products knowledge

  • Experience with leading ERP systems, especially SAP preferred

  • Experience in planning within a global CPG business is preferred
