Position Summary

The Manager, Ecommerce Media will lead our Amazon North America Batteries, Lights and Auto Care retail media inclusive of sponsored search and display, while advising on other markets. The Manager, eCommerce media will report directly into our global media team, collaborating across the organization with our sales and marketing colleagues and working closely with our agency partner, sales team, Amazon account executive and vendor manager to drive growth of our business on Amazon.

Responsibilities

  • Drives profitable growth by setting strategy for Amazon North America Batteries, Lights and Auto Care media (search & display).

  • Leads agency relationship driving Amazon media tactics and execution, assessing real time performance and proactively adjusting to drive optimizations and improvements.

  • Acts as a business owner, driving accelerated, profitable growth through media visibility.

  • Owns comprehensive scorecard development and reporting, with a bias for quick action to impact results.

  • Influential communicator, with an ability to clearly convey complex scenarios and business needs in a compelling way.

  • Leads capability development within EHI by identifying and piloting new capabilities to drive EHI growth, documenting and sharing best practices and actively advising on other EHI categories and markets.

  • Collaborates with internal and external partners inclusive of agency, Amazon Account executive, Vendor Manger, sales, marketing and media to drive connected approach across the consumer path to purchase, maximizing effectiveness and efficiency in lower funnel Amazon support.

  • Coordinate budgeting, planning and execution of Amazon paid media campaigns for North America Batteries, Lights and Auto Care.

  • Proactively mine Amazon Marketing Cloud for actionable audience and campaign insights.

What we are looking for

  • 4-year degree with an emphasis on Business, or Equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Amazon search media planning and buying.

  • Strategic thinker, strong analytical capabilities and ability to review KPIs, develop insights, make connections across results and tie it back to the business strategy and objectives.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work primarily in the central time zone.

  • Proactive and solution oriented with a strong sense of urgency and capability to tackle challenges comprehensively.

  • Curiosity for the ever-changing media landscape and a passion for understanding and staying ahead of the trends.

  • Flexibility to manage changing plans and deliverables, demonstrating agility and a bias for action in a fast-paced environment.
