Position Summary
The Manager, Business Intelligence provides support on reporting business trends to the organization. This role has responsibility for analyzing and identifying key trends in category, shopper, retailer, marketplace and industry through data-driven analytical needs across the globe, with a focus on North America .

Analysis and Decision Making - breaking complex issues into smaller parts to consider the parts in a systematic way and analyzing & assessing information to identify important issues and trends

Achieving Results - set standards and goals for both themselves and the team that will result in achieving and exceeding business plans and providing maximum return on investment.
Specific Accountabilities
Works with Director of Business Intelligence to identify and execute analyses to drive better insights in support of improved business results
Collaborates internally with the Business Intelligence, Global Category Leadership, Category Development, Trade Marketing, Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management teams to develop reports & presentations, identify key trends, provide insights, and develop recommendations
Consistent measurement and reporting to the organization
Deliver monthly business performance presentations
Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
May perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree
Proven ability to work effectively with teams; strong communication and interpersonal skills including presentation and relationship building is essential
5-7 years category management and/or sales analytics experience, relevant job experience preferred, cross-functional experience is desirable
Familiarity with the suite of IRI and Nielsen tools including Scan and Panel data. Experience with NPD and Numerator Insights Consumer Panel data also helpful
Technically skilled with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred Skills and Experience
Previous Category/Business Insights experience, working with Brand/Marketing teams
Consumer products industry experience or background preferred
Experience with eCommerce/omnichannel sales tracking sources (Edge by Ascential, Profitero, etc.)
Experience working with data visualization software like Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau
Master’s Degree

- Reports to Director, Business Intelligence, Batteries & Lighting. Key relationships internally will include Business Intelligence, Global Category Leadership, Category Development, Trade Marketing, Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management.
