Position Summary

The Trade Activation Analyst is responsible for the development and execution of business development programs to drive business growth consistent with the marketing cycle plan and global direction for both the OEM channel and Professional Hearing Aid Battery (HAB) category. They are responsible for delivering brand activation and Private Label (PL) programs with language or cultural adaptions as well as consulting and aligning with commercial, gathering competitive insights and communicating INTL strategies and plans which support the business. Therefore, ensuring activation plans are legal, workable and effective and in line with global strategies and priorities to drive growth and profitability within brand and PL guidelines.


  • Develop with commercial, compelling customer presentations/proposals and portfolios, based on the trade stories, using persuasive fact-based arguments, category dynamics and customer/consumer insights that enable EHI and partners to benefit from profitable growth. Responsible for also building close relationships, educating customers on the category and where needed attending and present in customer meetings

  • Works with commercial to develop ‘PL products’, initiating internal portfolio evaluation and set up processes through to artwork development and approval and uploading all files to the global database. Then working with ‘Marketing Operations – for implementation. Including project managing new non-standard SKUs development and evaluation. Leading the opportunity evaluation and liaise with internal departments to assess the options/viability/costs etc

  • Executes the deliveryof customer and consumer – campaigns, communications and new product launches

  • Understands different market positions and circumstances and works with Commercial teams to develop and execute plans to maximize market impact.

  • Works closely with commercial partners to maximize opportunities and ensure effective implementation of strategies and plans within major channels and customers.

  • Manages adaptation of global communication assets (including translation/cultural) to be utilized in the market under guidance from Global team. Coordinates with and manages local creative/activation agencies as required.

  • Trade show / event management – strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage external industry events

  • Manage custom imprint programs , approvals, updating system with part numbers and save downs

  • Supports the team in budget management, reporting, PO creation and reconciliation

  • May also perform additional duties as assigned

What we are looking for

  • Degree (or similar experience) in Business, Marketing or similar discipline.

  • Min. 2 years business experience working in B2B or consumer goods marketing, category or sales

  • Experience of working directly with customers or sales teams

  • Project management experience
