Position Summary
Oversees North America inventory and scheduling responsibilities for assigned plants and/or third-party manufacturers (TPM). Maintains capacity plans and weekly production schedules to ensure the efficient delivery of inventory, service and cost objectives. Responsibilities may also include inventory stock transfer/replenishment. Identifies ways to improve planning processes and tools for assignedareas.
Responsibilities
Generate weekly/monthly production and capacity plans using systems and processes that support the organization’s goals
Maintain data integrity in systems to facilitate efficient inventory and capacity management, customer service, and operational metrics
Utilize systems to proactively identify and communicate key drivers and proposed solutions to service and inventory issues
Maintain, review and update all monthly inputs used to calculate safety stocks and inventory targets.
Supply Chain category lead for daily service response process, in conjunction with Customer Service and Transportation (others as needed)
Provide backup and support for other Supply Chain functions, as assigned
Track and reconcile weekly/monthly metrics versus established targets
Review production performance and update planning rates to accurately reflect plant capabilities and available capacity
Participate on special projects as required
Accountable for inventory stock transfer/plant to distribution center replenishment
Determines inventory replenishment needs in the supply network based on unconstrained requirements
Accountable for ensuring the right product, at the right place, at the right time to fill customer orders at the lowest total delivered cost
Identifies and researches system issues that interfere with replenishment processes
Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to cross functional partners
Identifies ways to improve processes and tools for assigned areas
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field required
3-5 years of relevant experience in production planning, detailed scheduling, replenishment planning, demand planning or materials management
Experience with ERP or MRP planning software
Strong Excel skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands on time
What we would prefer
Knowledge of SAP IBP
APICS or CPIM certification
