Position Summary
Based either in St. Louis, remote or on-site at a warehouse, and reporting to the Senior Manager of North America Warehousing and Distribution, The North America Warehousing Manager is the key supplier relationship manager (SRM) for our third party Logistics providers responsible for routine operational governance of multiple TPL warehouses within the US and Canada and for driving continuous improvement initiatives through strong collaboration with the North America Supply Chain Team, third party Logistics providers, and Domestic Transportation Teams.
Responsibilities
Advocate for supply chain excellence by focusing to improve distribution cost, supply chain performance, and customer service levels
Has significant influence/collaboration within Logistics and the North America Commercial organization to plan, develop and execute warehousing and distribution regional strategies in alignment with Logistics and commercial strategies
Accountable for coaching and developing talent within the North America Logistics team
Assure leveraging of industry best practices
Accountability for Distribution spend of up to $16MM-$19MM annually
Lead North America Logistics, which could include warehouses in US & Canada
Develop and execute the North America Warehousing Budget Plans
Build and maintain partnerships with third party Logistics providers to deliver long-term growth and continuous improvements while delivering service
Partner with Customer Service, Commercial, & Domestic Transportation team members to improve overall Warehousing cost to serve
Reconcile monthly invoicing from third party logistics partners & ensures rate compliance
KPI Accountability for warehousing spend, supply chain deductions, and customer service levels
May be accountable to lead some select strategic initiatives
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years equivalent Supply Chain experience including a minimum 5 years of Logistics experience
Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, and Order Management Systems
Proven leader capable of long and short term strategic planning, driving positive change across an organization
Expertise in programs such as Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement practices and utilizing within Logistics environment
MS Office products knowledge
