Position Summary

Reporting to Brand Manager Korea, this role is accountable for all of consumer responses in South Korea, including taking and responding to consumer questions, handling complaints and reporting on these in line with Energizer Holdings’ (EHI) global guidelines and processes. You will also assist in the development and execution of consumer promotions to drive brand share and sales in line with commercial goals; coordinate and implement e-commerce images, content and information in line with global brand guidelines for agreed priority customers in Korea.

Accountabilities

  • Leads and manages the local market consumer response process and program in line with global consumer response guidelines. Manages local consumer response expenses in line with annual budget

  • Assists in the implementation of consumer promotions for Korea including project management, translations where possible and execution to align with driving brand and commercial

  • Leads monthly reporting of consumer response data and escalates critical and urgent cases to Senior Brand Manager and Global Consumer Response Team

  • Assists in the development of consumer promotions as per approved cycle plan to maximize brand and sales performance. May include leading consumer promotion with agency, development of POS, visibility materials, project management, retailer events, push girls and in store demo’s

  • Works closely with local sales teams to maximize opportunities and ensure effective implementation of strategies and plans within major channels and customers

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum five years’ working experience in consumer response within consumer products or similar industry

  • Possess in depth understanding of local consumer response laws, guidelines and consumer rights

  • Team player; able to communicate with internal (cross-functional teams) and external (consumers and agency partners) confidently

  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills (linked to consumer response)

  • Computer-savvy. Experienced in using Microsoft Office tools, consumer response tools and reporting data

  • Strong written and verbal Korean language skills; equipped with good English language

  • Some marketing experience, ideally consumer promotions would be a plus

Working Relationships & Environment

This role reports to Brand Manager of Korea. Key relationships internally include the Brand Manager, Brand Activation Manager, Category Development team, Commercial team, Finance and Supply Chain. Externally, this role will have regular engagement with consumers and agency partners.
