We are a global consumer products company, offering a broad portfolio of products that meet the needs of our customers and consumers. Our products are sold in over 140 markets and as part of our product portfolio expansion, we are excited to announce the opportunity of Senior Brand Manager position to be based in Seoul, South Korea.
This role plays a vital role to develop annual brand plans for the assigned markets, communicate marketing cycle plans to local sales teams and implement agreed plans to strengthen business growth consistent with the international marketing cycle plan and global directions.
Provides ideas to plan development and delivers annual brand plans to meet business goals aligned with global direction
Develops activation plans for new product launches, and consumer & shopper communication
Develops thorough market knowledge using global insights plus local category, trade, shopper and consumer and competitor data that provides a market advantage.
Develops initiatives in line with global marketing cycle plan that guides consumer and shopper interest to meet agreed sales and margin targets.
Develops and presents compelling trade stories and arguments, oversees implementation of promotional and visibility programs for the portfolio.
Recommends and manages annual A&P budget within agreed limits
Manages and develops Brand Managers to achieve the above outcomes.
Works with Commercial and cross functional teams to develop and implement plans to maximise market impact.
Regularly looks for continuous improvement initiatives across markets and processes.
Required Skills and Experience
Degree or above in Business, Marketing or similar academic discipline.
Demonstrated brand or product management experience working in fast moving consumer goods space in South Korea
People management experience developing a small team
Fluent in English language and cross-culture business experience (the role works cross-functionally with local and international team)
Computer skills in Microsoft Office
Experience of analysing and utilizing trade audit data; external data such as Nielsen
Demonstrated competencies in collaboration, critical thinking, teamwork, customer focus, and achieving results
Agency management experience
