Position Summary

In this new position, you will be part of the China eCommerce team, which is part of the Global Digital Economy organization within Energizer Holdings.

The eCommerce Key Account Manager will receive guidance from the Senior eCommerce Business Account Manager (line manager), who oversees the P&Ls, KPIs and targets for all eCommerce operations in China. This position will serve as the key contact person for their designated business and brand(s). This role will be responsible for supporting delivery of the annual business target (both sales and gross margin) for designated brands through excellent distributor collaboration, management and execution of business and campaign plan, inventory management, content management, and consumer service. Finally, the eCommerce Key Account Manager will need to understand distributors’ key needs and issues and resolve proactively.

Accountabilities

Support delivery of eCommerce customer sales, P&L, and related KPIs:

  • Participates in the development of sales strategies for accounts by providing the customer’s current business and long-term plan.

  • Collaborates with Senior eCommerce Business Account Manager to define and proposes sales targets and gross margins for accounts and ensure their achievement through structured processes.

  • Leads the development and implementation of the account plan, including designing the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, prioritizing opportunities, and identifying targets for each solution element.

  • Responsible for tracking distributor financial metrics for all online channels, not limited to flagship store. Monitors distributor’s inventory level, managing risk of out-of-stocks.

  • Supports People Manager on A&P and Trade Investment performance tracking.

  • Ensures accurate forecast can be provided to Energizer and leads internal ordering process to ensure operations run smoothly.

  • Proposes recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls.

Drives designated business through internal team collaboration and distributor management:

  • Collaborates regularly with Commercial teams to manage channel conflict / ensures alignment across the channel.

  • Proactively tracks P.O. status with Supply Chain teams. Communicates proactively and in a timely manner with Demand Planning team about the forecast.

  • Seeks support from Marketing teams on brand assets and raises internal team’s attention to eCommerce channel content needs and evolution.

  • Fosters strong relationships with customer buying teams and key internal support teams.

  • Monitors and shares China eCommerce trends and learnings with internal teams.

  • Owns monthly reporting, annual business plan, and campaign reviews for designated businesses / brands.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree Required

  • eCommerce experience of 3 years or more in China (e.g., JD, Tmall, PDD), preferably with sales experience and experience managing distributors.

  • Good organizational and project management skills, attention to details, self-motivated.

  • Skilled at cross-functional communication and collaboration with distributors and platforms

  • Strong data analytics skills

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Masters Degree a plus

  • Ability to work remotely and travel 25% of the time

  • Ability to speak the following languages: Mandarin Chinese, English

Working Relationships & Environment

  • Sits in China eCommerce team and a member of the Digital Economy Team, which reports into the Commercial organization

  • Reports to the Senior eCommerce Business Account Manager

  • Collaborates with a large number of cross-functional stakeholders including other internal Digital Economy team members (e.g., content, media, analytics), Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial team (e.g., channel conflict management), Legal, Regulatory and Marketing

  • Position can but does not need to be office-based
