Position Summary

In this new position you will be part of a fast paced & highly driven team that defines, sets, guides and implements the ecommerce strategy for Energizer Holdings across China.

The ecommerce Business Account Manager China owns P&Ls, KPIs and targets for all ecommerce operations in China. He or she serves as primary point of contact and partners to define Energizer Holdings' future state strategy in China across platforms for all brands to drive profitable digital growth. This individual is responsible for annual business plans development and execution, digital shelf management, distributor collaboration, consumer service oversight and digital media and content execution.


Develops ecommerce customer strategy and business objectives; manages P&L and KPI achievement

  • Defines and establishes the future state strategy for Energizer Holdings in China in coordination with cross-functional stakeholders; this includes defining where to play from a channel perspective and brand perspective as well as how to go to market

  • Serves as the customer’s primary point of contact and develops relationships at every level

  • Develops and executes annual business plans that efficiently achieve custom & Energizer goals / objectives

  • Manage monthly reporting and recommendations to deliver expected sales and GM plan

  • Acquires an understanding of key customer needs and builds competencies in requirements to win (e.g., no stock out guarantee)

Executes across the value chain to deliver customer strategy and achieve objectives

  • Fosters strong relationships with customer buying teams and key internal support teams

  • Manages ecommerce assortment and pricing

  • Collaborates regularly with Commercial teams to manage channel conflict / ensure alignment across the channel

  • Collaborates with Digital Media & Content lead to execute placement and visibility strategies

  • Owns and oversees customer support, including logistics, order processing and fulfilment, working with distributors where necessary

  • Manage all customer contracts, trade fund management and promotion ROI analysis

  • Communicates marketplace and competitive knowledge regularly with key stakeholders to recommend tactic adjustments and share learnings

Required Skills and Experience

  • Pureplay e-commerce experience in China (e.g., JD, Tmall, PDD) is essential

  • Significant sales experience

  • Understanding of P&L and how decisions affect the bottom line

  • Ability to make fast decisions and operate in a test and learn environment

  • Ability to manage budgets and drive toward KPIs

  • Ability to take initiative and identify issues

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Ability to work remotely and travel 25% of the time

  • Ability to speak the following languages: Mandarin Chinese, English

Working Relationships & Environment

  • Member of the Digital Economy Team, which reports in to the Commercial organization

  • Reports to the Director Digital Economy (US-based)

  • Collaborates with a large number of cross-functional stakeholders including other internal Digital Economy team members (e.g., content, media, analytics), supply chain, finance, commercial team (e.g., channel conflict management), legal, regulatory and marketing

  • Position can, but does not need to, be office based

  • Position will likely have several direct reports at a point in the near future
