Position Summary
Packaging Specialist for Lights category is responsible in supporting pack structure development of primary and secondary packages, managing die-lines and maintenance of packaging specifications & database. .
Packaging Specialist is required to support packaging engineer and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new products and changes in packaging are being executed timely.
Responsibilities
Support Packaging engineer on packaging trials and quality hurdle test conducted by TPMs.
Coordinate samples, packaging die-lines & specs from PDC to TPM, Review and approve white & golden sample from TPMs.
Maintenance of packaging specifications and material drawings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and TPMs to ensure packaging structural integrity and durability are met.
Support phase 1 meeting for overall timeline alignment.
Support phase 2 meeting with TPMs and cross-functional teams to review timeline, critical issues, risks and deliverables.
Generate UPN and provide inputs to SB.
Review and approve packaging specifications and update in Master Control.
Liaise with TPMs for technical drawings.
Review and approve golden samples.
Follow up on logistic information (weight & measurement) for new SKUs and update packaging database.
Coordinate packaging waste submission/ environment test requirement.
What we are looking for
General Diploma/Degree, so long as the candidate possesses the Key Competencies.
1 yr experience in packaging field (not mandatory)
Planning and organizing: Able to meet multiple project timelines and deliveries.
Decision Making: Capacity to attend to and make decisions when needed and demanded by the situation.
Communication: Able to relay and explain information to internal and external customers in Chinese & English.
Interaction/Building Relations: Able to coordinate with ENR cross-functional teams, TPMs, material suppliers to obtain and verify necessary information for packaging work.
Innovation/Creativity: Able to think creatively and critically.
