Reporting to Senior Brand Manager, this role assists in the development of annual brand plans for relevant markets and manages execution of agreed plans to drive business growth, in consistent with the international marketing cycle plan and global direction. Champions the execution of marketing cycle plans to local sales teams to deliver in-store excellence and drive business growth.
Provides input to strategy development and annual brand plans to meet business objectives in line with global direction at the local level.
Co-ordinates and executes marketing plan locally to meet business objectives in line with global direction.
Maintains a product portfolio and range relevant to the region, including promotional SKU’s.
Adapts and leverages merchandising and PoS materials to support excellence in retail presence and best in class visibility.
Develops a detailed understanding of all aspects of the market using global insights plus local category, trade, shopper and consumer and competitor data that provides competitive advantage.
Builds a winning program of activities and initiatives in line with global direction and international marketing cycle plan that drives consumer and shopper interest to meet agreed sales and margin targets.
Develops and oversees implementation of local promotional and visibility programs for the portfolio.
Manages distribution priorities with the sales team. Takes part in negotiations with Key Customers as an expert in Category to support Sales team.
Liaises with Supply Chain and Finance to ensure seamless execution of in-market initiatives.
Delivers a winning activation program maximized sales performance from brand initiatives.
Adapts and leverages central Visibility and promotional tools and assets to provide best in class retail presence and instore
Sets up temporary display SKU’s and manages any promotional artwork production.
Required Skills and Experience
Degree or above in Business, Marketing, or similar discipline.
Solid evidence of working exposure in consumer goods sales & marketing space. Brand management or/and trade marketing exposure, significant operational experience in brand, shopper marketing, category management, and digital marketing in a locally or globally recognized CPG/FMCG corporation.
Prior experience in Auto care industry (Fragrance, Appearance, Performance) will be value addition to the company.
Exposure to work directly with customers and sales teams (key accounts and traditional retail trades); Agency and supplier management experience.
Detail-oriented, experienced in analysing and utilizing trade audit data (Excel, PowerPoint); using Nielsen data or similar tools on retail analysis.
Demonstrated competencies in critical thinking, collaboration, influence, team leadership, customer focus, and achieving results in alignment with business goals.
Proficient in English language and confident in communicating across regional businesses.
