Reporting to APAC Planning Manager, this role leads and manages a team of Planning resources supporting various planning processes for Plants and Hubs in the APAC region. It includes Master Scheduling, Supply and Deployment planning from source and Distribution Centers to destination. Besides that, this role supports market/hub level process changes to optimize working capital investment and attain the desired customer service level goals.
To lead and manage a team of Master Schedulers for the plants in APAC regions.
Accountable to review and address Master Scheduling constrains, and procurement process with 3rd party suppliers.
Provides guide lines on inventory holding levels; tracks and publishes monthly performance reports.
Resolves process issues; reviews and implement process improvements.
Supports plants initiatives to attain a level production schedule, while balancing customer demand.
Develops and participates in local and area level SOP process.
Ensures processes in place to periodically review data integrity and information flow is seamless to facilitate planning.
Co-leads new product introduction (NPI) process.
Manages colleague development and establishes cover pool resources for Master Scheduling
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum Degree holder in Supply Chain Management, Business Admin, Industrial Engineeing, Logistics or related discipline, with 5 years’ career experience in planning and analytical role (Master Scheduling)
Experienced leading a team directly. Highly independent and motivated with excellent leadership values
A good appreciation of planning concepts. Able to remain customer focus while balancing inventory goals
Able to work with multi systems for planning and processing shop orders; managing large number of SKU portfolio (2K +/-) within FMCG environment
Familiar with the usage of Integrated Advanced Planning system (eg. SAP IBP, Oracle SCM Cloud, JDA)
Experience using Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets, charts, pivot tables and using of functions to tabulate data
Able to perform under pressure and demonstrate competency in both written and spoken English language.
Comfortable working with global planning community and on different timezones

Internally: Plant manufacturing office, Controllership, Product Development, Marketing
Externally: Affiliate and Direct Customers; Supplying Sources and 3rd party suppliers
