Position Summary

The Senior Global Real Estate Project Manager will be responsible for all global real estate projects in the 5+ million sq. foot Energizer portfolio.  The Senior Global Real Estate Project Manager will be responsible for defining scope, budget, and project schedules for all projects.  The  Senior Global Real Estate Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple project budgets in different currencies and different financial systems that range from 25k to 12+m USD.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Manage global real estate construction, refurbishment, relocation, restack and other corporate real estate projects

  • Create project documents including but not limited to scope, budget, schedule, approval, and close out phase; Recommend and look for continued improvements

  • Lead global project teams of internal and external team members (project teams in excess of 20+ team members)

  • Lead RFPs for architect, general contractor, and other misc. real estate contractors within each project; Document RFP process and ensure that procurement is involved in each vendor selection process

  • Develop space plans based off global standard design concepts that are code compliant and within the guidelines of the GRE market benchmarks

  • Create finish and furniture plans for each project; Ensure that finish selection and furniture plans are within Energizer Global Real Estate Standards

  • Develop communication plans and general communications that align with project goals and inform employees of any upcoming changes / events.

  • Develop regular cadence reporting for project status, budget and schedule reporting

  • Decommission real estate locations per terms of the lease agreement

  • Manage office restacks ranging from 10 to 500+ people

  • Ensure that all project invoices are paid in local currencies with the proper accounting application

  • Reconcile project spend actuals against SAP

  • Manage IT resources and help define scope

  • Attend / host project meetings

  • Generate and manage global project reporting

  • Travel 25%

  • Duties as needed

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years construction / real estate project management

  • Knowledge of and ability to read CAD drawings

  • Knowledge of real estate financial accounting

  • Knowledge of project management structure and documents

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Experience with commercial facilities construction

  • Experience in corporate real estate

  • Experience with MS Project, Excel & Power Point

Working Relationships & Environment

Working Relationships

  • Will report directly to the Global Real Estate Manager

  • Will regularly partner with Leadership, Procurement, IT, Finance, and Operations

Work Environment

  • TBD – Anywhere in Central or Eastern time zone

  • Estimated 25% of Global Travel (based off project locations)

  • Weekend and after hour work is required for restacks and construction build out.
