Position Summary
The Account Manager, eCommerce- has the accountability for delivering sales, share and margin for strategic eCommerce customers. The position will be responsible for day-to-day Platform Management including developing account strategies and knowing operations and shoppers deeply in order to build and execute effective strategies to drive the battery, lights and auto care categories eCommerce platforms in partnership with the Digital Economy team and the Brick & Mortar Commercial teams. Requires a self-starter with a curious nature who enjoys the ambiguity and challenge of earning category leadership on ecommerce platforms.
Accountabilities
Develop eCommerce customer strategy and business objectives; manage KPI achievement
Utilize account team overall strategy to develop shared eCommerce objectives and metrics of success / KPIs with account teams; identify growth opportunities based on an understanding of the retailer eCommerce platform
Develop and execute Annual Business Plans that efficiently achieve and stretch customer and Energizer eCommerce goals / objectives
Manage monthly scorecard reporting and recommendations to deliver expected sales and share growth
Serve as primary point of contact to eCommerce platforms, attend key meetings as the Energizer eCommerce expert and develop relationships at every level
Acquire an understanding of key customer needs and driving inputs into their algorithm in order to build competencies to win online
Regularly review / update learnings and successes of executed tactics; share out to the COE
Execute across the value chain to deliver customer strategy and achieve objectives
Provide full-time focus on driving digital business
Take accountability for digital shelf placement media to steer team activity and make daily spend decisions
Collaborate with Commercial team to deliver best-in-class eCommerce assortment and communicate regularly with Commercial teams to manage channel conflict / ensure alignment across the channel
Collaborate with Digital Media Lead to execute placement and visibility strategies and monitor the effectiveness of media spend making daily adjustments as needed
Collaborate closely with eCommerce Content and Syndication Specialist to drive written and visual customer-specific digital media creative / copy and syndication
Ensure product keyword listings, product page content, etc. are optimized for search rankings
Collaborate with Shopper / Brand Activation team to align online and in-store promotion activity
Own online item setup and out of stock management for strategic accounts in DIY channel
Communicate marketplace and competitive knowledge regularly with COE stakeholders to recommend tactic adjustments and share learnings
Drive test and learn pilots for eCommerce platforms
Liaise with insights lead to share learnings and optimize both in-store and online shopper experience
Share best practices and learnings with the eCommerce Acceleration team
Liaise with functional teams as needed to service the account and minimize channel conflict
Drive DIY/Professional Channel eCommerce relationships internally and externally
Foster strong relationships with customer buying teams and key internal support teams
Attend trade meetings and trade conferences
Communicate Home Depot and Lowes eCommerce results
Provide, monthly and quarterly updates to metrics of success
May perform additional duties as assigned
Specific Accountabilities
Develop annual eCommerce category business plans and targets; gain Customer Team alignment and support
Achieve category-specific KPI targets
Manage item catalog, including item level management, new item setup, product detail page optimization
Manage travel and expense budget
Required Skills and Experience
4 year Bachelor’s Degree
3-5 years related work experience
DIY Channel eCommerce account management experience preferred
Ability to influence change without direct ownership
Ability to make fast decisions and operate in a test and learn environment
Positive attitude and ability to set and achieve goals
Ability to take initiative and self-direct
Ability to balance Customer, Consumer, and Shareholder perspectives at the same time
Ability to intelligently challenge convention, influence decisions, and drive change

Significant sales/ecommerce experience
Ability to manage budgets and drive toward KPIs
Ability to work in St. Louis, MO, Atlanta, GA or Mooresville, NC and drive relationships
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience analyzing and managing eCommerce platforms/ businesses
Organic, Paid Search optimization
Experience navigating Home Depot, Lowes or other DIY ecommerce platform
Negotiation (Customer Contracts, Annual Terms, Promotional Engagements)
Category Management (Pricing Analysis, Assortment Analysis, Market Share Analysis)
Working Relationships & Environment
Reports to the Senior Manager, Global Ecommerce
Closely collaborates with Home Depot, Lowes account team, Media lead, Content & Syndication Specialist, Digital Customer Analytics
