Energizer is seeking a highly motivated person to join our North American Digital Economy team at the corporate office in St. Louis, MO. The position will be responsible for supporting The Specialist, eCommerce Content and Syndication to oversee the development and execution of written and visual content. This position will syndicate best in category product page content for select, volume-driving SKUs to support omni channel and pureplay retailers, as well as support strategic accounts with custom retailer-specific content and syndication.
Participate on assigned project team to achieve common goals, while building integrated collaborative relationships with other team members, business partners, and stakeholders
Support content team in internal and retailer specific needs to deliver strategic recommendations
Gain a thorough understanding of our business, the consumer, competitors and customers
Create visual and written eCommerce content across three categories
Work with Specialist, eCommerce Content and Syndication to determine what content needs are next and identify technologies and resources necessary to streamline and scale content creation, warehousing and deployment
Collaboratively design, develop, implement and manage business processes to support effective shelf merchandising and content management.
Define and create global ‘best in class’ generic written and visual content
Produce enhanced retailer-specific optimized content to improve merchandising and customer experience at select strategic accounts
Work cross-functionally with Global and Area Marketing to ensure activation of brand strategy and messaging across eCommerce accounts
Articulate and share insights, learnings and best practices to Digital Economy team.
Oversee agencies in the development of content
Outline and implement strategy for variations, attributes, and keywords for select strategic accounts
Image standardization and optimization
Translations where necessary
Develop and deploy enhanced content (below the fold)
Manage content warehousing across visual and written content
Manage ERP/SAP product content for the Energizer Holdings, Inc. portfolio
Update and manage the product content management platform globally
Work with vendor to set up retailer specific templates
Syndicate visual and written content
Provide updates to syndication as needed to priority retailer accounts
Syndicate content directly to retailer websites for priority accounts
Establishing guidelines for non-priority account managers to adapt content and syndicate standard content
Process mapping for content designed to streamline and improve speed to market
Perform Q&A review after deployment and audits twice a year to ensure product pages have been uploaded correctly to retailer sites.
Bring forward recommendations/processes to enhance speed and scale of content development and syndication.
May perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
4-year bachelor’s Degree; Business Administration, Marketing, Design, Communications, or Journalism preferred
Digitally savvy, with passion for eCommerce space
Understanding of SEO and eCommerce copywriting best practices
Creative and enthusiastic problem solver
Strong written communicator
Strong collaboration skills
Ability to take initiative and self-direct
Ability to quickly learn needed technical tools
Preferred Skills and Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint and Excel
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects/assignments
Ability to work independently with minimal instructions

Self-motivated and highly adaptable to change
Experience in the creation, warehousing and syndication of online content

Reports to Sr. Manager Global eCommerce Acceleration OR Specialist, eCommerce Content and Syndication
Part of the Global Digital Economy Team
Closely collaborates within Digital Economy team with Amazon and Walmart Account Managers, eCommerce Analytics Team and omni channel subject matter experts
Closely collaborates cross-functionally with global and area marketing
Remote office environment
This is a permanent full time position
Monday – Friday work week (40 hours)
