Position is responsible for directing the North America Integrated Supply Chain Controllership processes in support of manufacturing operations and its associated manufacturing locations plus centralized support functions. It provides financial oversight to systems, policies, and procedures affecting all the North America plants. The position monitors and coordinates manufacturing accounting policy and procedure for adequacy and compliance with global operations standards.
Ensure globally consistent policies, processes and procedures.
Liaise with the Internal Audits Department and PwC on control procedures and SOX compliance.
Develop, maintain, and guide user support for ERP consolidation systems for financial and operations reporting.
Interact with Corporate Accounting on broad Energizer Projects
Support the general accounting requirements of the Operations Management Organization including:
o R & D
o S. Distribution
o S. Contract Packaging
o S. Manufacturing Facilities
Consolidate U.S. COGS financial reporting including inventory and legal P&L
Support standardization of product costing methods and systems
Work with Finance to coordinate and consolidate global standards.
Support and influence global Controllership process standardization and simplification
- Lead team of 10-15 Americas F&C direct and indirect colleagues including associated budget
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree (4-year undergraduate) in Accounting or related field required
Experience in general accounting, policies and procedure development, systems skills and IT collaboration for system improvements
Experience with manufacturing cost accounting and a manufacturing environment
Accounting, Finance, or Industrial Engineering
Ability to lead, motivate, and influence a team to achieve change and continuous improvement
Ability to analyze large amounts of data and effectively identify and clearly communicate global operational, geopolitical and financial trends
Preferred Skills and Experience
Advanced degree (e.g. MBA) and/or advanced certification (e.g. CPA)
Previous experience developing product standards and analyzing/reporting sourcing P&L, capital, and capacity planning information
Working Relationships & Environment
Reports to Sr. Director, Global ISC F&C
Strong internal working relationships required with VP – Global Operations, VP – Supply Chain, VP – Procurement, VP – RD&E, Director – FP&A
Support to Commercial Americas and International Finance and Controllership Directors, as required
Engages Marketing input in key planning process deliverables and other ad hoc projects as required
Located in St. Louis, MO Office Headquarters
10-15% travel, minor international
