Position Summary

Financial leader supporting corporate development strategy through identification, evaluation and execution of potential mergers, acquisitions, investments and joint ventures as well as divestitures by the company


  • Play a key role in all M&A activities, manage financial due diligence, build valuation models and provide general transaction and analytic support to the VP, Corporate Development

  • Coordinate all financial due diligence efforts and manage external advisors to develop acquisition business case analyses

  • Interface with cross-functional teams including Commercial leaders, Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Tax and HR to build valuation models

Specific Accountabilities

  • Partner with business leaders before, during and after the M&A processes to evaluate financing strategies, deal economics and support the financial integration post close

  • Evaluate and execute other strategic initiatives such as joint ventures, divestitures and partnership activities

  • Establish budgets for project spending and track spend vs plans

  • Create presentation materials to communicate recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive Corporate Finance experience

  • MBA or similar academic / professional experience required

  • Significant experience in acquisitions and integration

  • Strong leadership skills with a team-oriented and collaborative approach to work

  • Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities

  • Ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior management and external business partners

  • Global or multi-national business experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • CPA or CFA preferred

  • Strong negotiation skills
