Position Summary

The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for Data Center operations, Server Management, Storage, Active Directory, Audit Compliance, and Database Management for the Information Technology Department of Energizer Holdings, Inc.

The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for Data Center operations, Server Management, Storage, Active Directory, Audit Compliance, and Database Management for the Information Technology Department of Energizer Holdings, Inc. This position is responsible for long-term planning that ensures operations capacity meets current and future business requirements at Data Centers and remote Server Rooms. This person is responsible for building a high performing organization, set of processes, and application infrastructure to support Energizer Holdings, Inc’s growth.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Direct a 24x7 global team of professionals that provide administration, advanced support and operational management of Data Center facilities, database platforms, storage platforms, and Active Directory.

  • Define and implement strategies that govern their area including lifecycle management, secure operations, monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost effective use of resources

  • Ensure SOX and Audit compliance(Physical security, Logical security, Database security, Active Directory)

  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

  • Identifies and evaluates technical solutions addressing both short and long term business initiatives

  • Provides technical expertise for complex operational related issues and maintains the stability of daily operations

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field; Master’s degree or MBA is highly desirable; equivalent experience will be evaluated

  • Seven or more years of experience in Data Center, Server operations or Infrastructure in an Enterprise environment

  • Knowledge and/or expertise in application virtualization(Hyper and/or VMWare), Cloud(Public, Private, Hybrid), ItaaS, Server, Storage, and Windows technologies

  • Experience in Procurement, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Asset Management

  • Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple project deadlines and milestones

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and the application of these principles in infrastructure environments

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years in a lead/management position

  • Proactively monitor utilization levels and trends throughout the Data Center infrastructure to determine quality of service and reduce run-to-maintain costs

  • Desire to stay abreast of best practices, tends, and technologies in IT

  • Demonstrated ability in the area of Vendor Management(contract negotiation, Managed Hosting, SaaS)

  • Ability to manage distributed teams

  • Strong customer service mindset

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Working Relationships & Environment

Working Relationships

  • Reports to the Director, Infrastructure & Technical Service. Key relationships internally will include the Network Architect, Security Architect, EUC Manager and Infrastructure Architect.

Work Environment
